Using the PC chip card reader, and Direct Access^® 6.1, you can load your card with cash at home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We've added a chip feature to Direct Access 6.1, so that you can transfer cash from your Citibank checking or credit accounts (Ready Credit, Equity Source Account, Preferred Line) directly onto your Citicard with a Money Chip or Citibank Money Card. The PC chip card reader simply attaches to your PC.

That means you'll no longer have to run to the ATM or Citibank Load Kiosk every time you need cash, or have to worry about being caught at home without cash - when you're expecting a pizza delivery on a rainy night. It all adds up to more convenience for you.

Your PC must meet the following requirements to use the chip card reader with Direct Access.

Windows 95 or higher
Direct Access 6.1
486MHz processor or greater
The chip card feature is available via Direct Access on the Internet or private network dial up. For Internet users only, you will need either Netscape Communicator or Netscape Navigator version 3.04 or greater.
